Master\’s Students

The educational program "Nanomaterials and nanotechnology and photonics optoinformatics" is aimed at highly qualified personnel training on the direction Photonics and Optoinformatics. During the training, the focus is on advanced study of courses related to the following areas: optical materials, waveguide photonics, solid state physics, nanotechnologies and nanomaterials, nanophotonics and nanoplasmonics, sensorics, phosphor, optics, research methods of optical materials.

Graduates professional activity of the educational program "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology photonics Optoinformatics" is connected with the research, technological and project activities in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for research institutes, companies and industrial enterprises of optical sector.

This direction involves the development of skills in the development, modification and study of modern nanomaterials, as well as their application in the creation of element base of photonics and optoinformatics new generation.

The educational program "Advanced Materials and Photonics Technologies " is realized in cooperation with the University of Eastern Finland (UEF, Finland) and focused on the training of masters, specializing in the development, study and design of advanced materials and photonics technologies.

Educational programs aimed at better understanding and multilateral development courses such as: "Special sections of optical materials science", "Diffraction and Interference Optics", "Nanophotonics and Nanoplasmonics", "Industrial and Biomedical Optics," "Nonlinear Optics" "Silicon photonics", "IR photonics", "Optical design" and others.

Graduates professional activity of the educational program "Advanced Materials and Technologies Photonics" is connected with the research, technological and project activities in the development of advanced optical materials and technologies for their production and processing tasks photonics, telecommunications, sensorics, laser and LED technology.

This direction involves the development of skills development, synthesis, modification, processing and study of advanced optical materials, their use in cell-based photonics and optoelectronics, as well as the construction of optical devices and systems for various applications based on new materials.

Admission Requirements for training within double diploma education:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in physics, optical engineering, photonics, optoelectronics systems, and other relevant fields, awarded at the end of training with good results.

- English language skills, supported by relevant documents (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, CAE or CPE)

The educational program "Optics of Thin Films" towards optotechnique focused on training highly qualified specialists in the field of optical technologies. During the training, the focus is on the development of advanced courses specialized subjects, acquiring skills of analysis, design and produce opto-electronic devices and systems, thin-film coatings. Master Degree students are involved in research on grants, contracts, government projects and international contracts, writing scientific publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
